Hey, my name is James Ly. I’m interested in business and AI. Over the past two years, I worked on Kardn, an AI social search companion. After experimenting, we pivoted to AI short films. Eventually I recognized it wasn’t the space I wanted to stay in, and I chose to end the project. We reached over 10k users, 3k daily active users, and generated revenue. I handled product, front-end, and end-to-end marketing. I created over 2M+ views across social platforms in two weeks and grew our audience by more than 4k followers. I designed and built this site with Next.js, React, and TypeScript, using Tailwind and shadcn/ui for styling and Supabase for the backend. The wiring visualization is built with Three.js and react-three-fiber. My personal assistant is powered by OpenAI. I write everything in Cursor and ChatGPT, push to GitHub, and deploy through Vercel.
